How Does PRP Injection Treatments Work?
We remove a small amount (just one or two tablespoons) of your blood and separate the platelets into platelet-rich plasma. We use a Centrifuge (a rapidly rotating container that uses centrifugal force to separate fluids). After being centrifuged, the activated platelets are injected into the abnormal tissue, releasing growth factors that recruit and increase the proliferation of reparative cells.
